Yeah that is to sucker people in to taking the points. It has nothing to do with the team being overrated.

We played absolutely awful. Just terrible. We were outplayed and outcoached on every down, and it was an embarrassment. I'm sure the calls for Beamer to step down will start up again (as they do every time we lose), but it was the entire staff that screwed the pooch on this one. Even Foster who has always been the saving grace of the program failed to produce a winning strategy against - and I can't believe I have to say this - Pitt!

The first game was a disaster up until the last 2 minutes of the game. If GT was able to string together any sort of offensive momentum, that game would have looked much the same as the Pitt game. I shook it off as being the first game of the year, and moved on. The game against Austin Peay wasn't televised, but the recap was all negative for the team. This Pitt game is just confirmation that the team is awful and the coaching staff needs to build a new strategy around the assets they have.

Oh the horror. Though, as my friend said, they'll manage to win 10 games one way or another. They'll end up shocking FSU or Clemson (to really screw up the ACC's championship hopes) and get into some mediocre bowl (that they'll lose). Ugh, its going to be a long season.

Doubt it. An LSU-Bama national title game happened because the two played earlier in the season and Bama finished the season on a win streak. Georgia and Alabama would have to play in the SEC title game. No way the loser of an SEC title game would make the national championship.

Agreed. Besides, after last season's snoozefest of a BCS MNCG between two teams that basically play the same scheme, I think that putting two deserving teams out there with different styles, representing different parts of the country (you know, a NATIONAL championship) is much more palatable to the national CFB audience.

It was a great NC game! What are you talking about the two BEST college teams going at it for a second time! What could be better, certainly not ACC or Pac-10 football (It might be blasphemous to put those two together )

The gallbladder has actually been renamed in medical journals as an Edsalloscopy, since the gallbladder is meant to process bile it was a perfect fit.

Ya, recovery is pretty quick on that procedure these days and it's not as invasive as it one was. Typically just a one night stay, but I was in the hospital 4 days because I was admitted on a Saturday due to pain so bad I went to the ER. That last attack when I got admitted was the worst pain in my life by far. A good description of what it felt like would be someone stabbing you in the stomach with a knife and twisting it around. Within a few days of surgery I was fine.

Worst part was actually the months of periodic gallstone attacks before it was diagnosed. The symptoms from gallstone issues are very similar to other problems and as a result it might take months for for doctors to figure out what it is.

Maybe, you're being sarcastic. In case you aren't, the television ratings said otherwise.

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2...lowest_tv.html

Dreadful, dreadful game to watch. Just painful. At a time when college football gets more and more popular with each successive year, to have a MNCG that was that unwatchable is an indictment as to what the rest of the country felt about the rematch between those two southern teams. It was nearly unwatchable the first time they played, as well.

Anyone know much about streaming games through ESPN on the Xbox? The Alabama / Florida Atlantic game is pay per view... But if I am reading things correctly, I should be able to stream it on ESPN3 through the Xbox. It's also dependent upon your Internet provider, and mine is on the list... But does anyone know if they block out the local games that are pay per view?
