i have powered subs in all 7 of my surround speakers. should i turn the subs off when i run audyssey? and then after audyssey has set everthing turn the gain levels of the subs up to my liking?

I would let it run thru with the sub on even if you have extra bass in the you're speakers..

Typically, Audyssey recommends that you set your sub(s) at the mid-point before you run the setup. This allows you to tweak the bass up or down to your liking after Audyssey has made the nominal settings to your system.
