Is there a new complete listing guide for the USA? Im collecting only the ones here but I noticed the recent wb best buy bunch and sherlock holmes2 aren't on the list. Curious what else is set be released. Is there a new thread?

I just realised that my list is missing HUGE number of titles because of forum crash, and i have no back-up list... I wonder if this will be "definitive" list anymore, anyway back to work

What about the Canadian releases?
I refer to this list to check if my collection is still complete. I missed a few steels but I found a way to get them later, now I'm wondering if I still have a definitive Canadian steelbooks collection...

Have you given up on the "Definitive Blu-ray SteelBook list with links"? I note that your last quick reply message was the one above on 06-20-12, and the most recent "Last edited by mikkeli" on the first page appears to be 07-02-12. I really hope you haven't given up on it because of the forum crash. I am a huge fan of your list; it is my de facto list with respects to Blu-ray SteelBooks.

As an example, I note that the Canadian portion of the list doesn't include The Lorax, Snow White and the Huntsman, or either of the (x2) Hunger Games; perhaps even more.

If you haven't given up on the list, please let myself and the Blu-ray.com regulars know how we can help you get it back up to speed. I'm confident that I am not the only one who relied heavily on your list, and I am equally confident that the members here would do whatever we could to help you get it back on track.

What are Steelbooks, and are they playable in the USA? I am a novice and am not very familiar with this manufacturer. I have noticed that titles such as Snow White are coming up in this format and seeing as Disney has put this back into their "Vault" hence my question. Many thanks in advance for any input.

Steelbooks are just collectable packaging. Nothing new. The discs inside are still blu-rays. The only thing is that certain steelbooks from say United Kingdom might be region locked so those aren't playable in the USA. There is a wealth of information in this forum. But be warned, once you get your first SB, you will get hooked and it will be a slippery slope my friend.

What you are seeing is the new Snow White and the Huntsman being released and has no relation to Disney Snow White. Both have steelbooks but Disney Snow White is harder to find.

I was totally puzzled by this. It seemed a bunch of blu-rays that are no longer available, are now suddenly showing upcoming releases. I just got through paying $45.00 for Disney's Pinnochio, and now they've gone up again.

My usual source for Blu-ray discs are through Amazon. The only proviso is that they play on United States players. That was my concern from the start. I had suddenly started Amazon selling these Steelcase discs and I wasn't sure if they played on US players.
