Man Radio Energie here, who have a show that is listened by more than 300,000 people in montreal region and 750,000 in Quebec whole just did a joke on Blu-ray.

The guy (french) talk with a really bad english (lol he's trying but he just sucks) and call a Futureshop Rep about Blu-ray. It's kinda Prank Calling...

It's really funny if you're Bilingual here because he mix french/english in he phrase but the Rep guy just laught in the background

So you can't be more Mainstream than that... LOL!

The MP3 is available on their site, but you have to understand both to find it funny..

I'm in the same boat with my parents. My mom won't know what bluray is for a while, but my dad is getting there. He loves technology, but isnt very well informed since I'm his only informer.lol

My brother and law and a younger brother are very technology savv, but I had to push and teach them what bluray was for awhile. My younger brother was Pro HDDVD for awhile and kept calling me a Sony nuthugger or something like that for awhile because I have a brand loyalty. I told them all the ups and downs of hddvd and bluray but its not recently that he admitted that I was right all after reading about the death of HD DVD. haha

As for my bro in law, he pretty much listened to whatever I told him about bluray and HD DVD, but he ended up getting both, eventhough I said HD DVD was going to eventually phase out because of studio support. He listened of course, but still bought one anyways because of movies that were not on bluray. A few days ago I was watching "Don't forget the Lyrics" with him and out of no where, he and my sister was like "so hddvd bankrupted?" I told them its not really bankrupt, its just they dropped out of the competition. I could tell he was sad because of the long pause that he found out that his HD DVD is no longer useful in a few months. I felt bad and was like, "you can probably sell it for a bluray player." lol

He has a bluray player in his room though, but complains about it being too slow. I told him its not the bluray disc, but the bluray player thats slow. Showed him how fast it turned on, in my PS3 blah blah.

Plus, I was at circuit city and some old man was talking to us and said "So you got a bluray player to go with the HDTV?" I told him I'm planning to, just cant decide which yet(just got the xbr4 yesterday after months and months). Anyways, bluray is going to takeover like a plague.

i was at bb in the ps3 section. i heard some little kids talking about these blu dvds (what they called them). they were saying there super hd and thats why it beat hd dvd which was just normal hd. i laughed.
ps the blu ray section is so crowed now that the war is over i wish my bb would take a hint and shrink the hd dvd section.
