Its days are definitely numbered. I don't think it is truly "dead" until you walk into Target (etc.) and see blus where HD-DVD used to be.

This has to be one of the most pointless polls. Where have you been? If Toshiba won't be making HD-DVD and the studios have dropped support for it then why would it even have a chance? Is VHS making a comeback? Are B&W TV's the next big thing? Hey, I hear rotary dial phones may return along with the 3 pound Motorola portable phone with analog service.

Dead and buried. The stench is going to linger for a while though.

Is HD DVD dead? Well Toshiba dropping the format it pioneered, kinda leads us to beleive that HD DVd is in trouble However, we don't know what will happen with CH DVD in China.

HD DVD is dead. It's just that the body has not cooled off yet.

Methinks not everyone is realizing that the punchline is that the poll choices are yes or yes.

It looks like a corpse. It smells like a corpse. Of course, these things were true last August, when it jumped up and started running around, bumping into the furniture and buying Super Bowl ads.

Let's wait until the buzzards are done eating, and check on it again.

About as dead as a revival of Gili on VHS.

I voted yes because technically it is. But it will live on in ebay for decades.
