Why wouldn't my twitter account be, I don't know, my name?

Boy, how I really love the "Ignore List" feature in situations like this.

But still, the past three weeks PROVE that the replacement ref's are a disgrace to the league, counting this play or not.

Like I've said before, I don't think the judgement calls are any different. The place where the replacement refs are terrible is in the administration. They don't mark off penalties the proper distance, handle reviews properly (like giving SF 2 when they have 0 timeouts), or handle player mixups (though I'm guessing some of this is the player's not respecting them, which I think the league needs to start taking action against, like suspending Belicheck).

If this was baseball then it would be a 10 game suspension easily. In the NFL it is probably $50K and whatever.

I have to agree with this. Jennings clearly has more possession of the ball when he is in air, but that doesn't mean it's a catch. What happened in the scrum is what I'd like to know as well. I'm inclined to say it was an INT but Tate could just have easily muscled that ball from Jennings.

The pacing of the game is complete crap with the replacement refs. That's my main issue with them.

I am not sure if they got that call right or not. But the officials are not the
main reason why the Packers lost. It was one call at the end of the game. Lots of other things happend in this game.

in real time it looked like a simultaneous catch (one handed by Tate but still a catch) but I took a screen cap and it looks like Jennings caught it first and Tate has some fingertips on it at most

It wasn't simultaneous. Jennings had it and Tate put a hand in after he going to the ground. Simultaneous means at the same time... The rule is clear if on player has possesion prior to another possesion goes to the initial player. Never mind the fact Tate pushed off also. There were questionable calls on both teams the whole game but they really f'd this game at the end. But I also lay this loss on McCarthy. No adjustments to better protect Rodgers the first half... 8 sacks we are lucky Rodgers is still healthy after that.

As much as I hate this call and think the Packers got jobbed, sycro is right that this is not something a review can overturn.

So I tend to agree that the regular refs could have done the same thing. All it takes is for them to think "Simultaneous catch" in real time and you get the same result.

While I agree the refs are making some bad calls, the piling on from the players, coaches and media is a little over the top. It's dangerous for two reasons. First, it seems to presume that the regular refs never made bad calls. Second, when the regular refs come back, they better get every call right, because they are going to be under a very unforgiving microscope.

I don't get that vibe from anyone lol, but what is 1000% true is at the very least they had control of the games. When you have refs that got fired from the lingerie league, d3 refs and guys who were coaching pee-wee this is what happens.

And nobody expects any ref to get get it 100% right.

I didn't watch the 2nd half of the game, but woke up to headlines this morning. Holy cow!
