Local BD Bargains

They'd need to have some very new/good titles to entice me for 2 for $30, considering all the previous B2G1F, B1G1F sale titles have come out cheaper than that.

I picked up what I thought was the bargain of the century today. The newly released 5 disc extended version of The Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King from Cash Converters (Penrith) for only $10.

Shame they didn't have the others though.

I bet some bogan stole it from Westfield there in Penrith, and walked straight over to Cash Converters to sell it. Either way, it's a good buy.

Probably, but hey....my gain. It's actually got a price of $12 on the sticker but all their BD are going for $10. I wouldn't have cared if I paid $12 for it. It was still cheap.

I also found out that some of the Cash Converters stores have webstore links available through the CC's website that shows the stuff they have for sale and where the item is located. I've now saved CC's into my favourites.

Gee that seems really odd to me your only saving 98c each by buying 2 not much of an incentive to go crazy is it

This sale seems odd. There are not only some quite pricey titles but also new ones.

I tried to put The Lorax and The Rum Diary through and it isn't changing to $30.

The B1G1F titles are identical to the ones in the mid-year sale, haha.

There are some 2 for $30 titles there I'd like to get, but just returned from the store and they did not have the promotion going yet. The cart doesn't seem to process the discount yet either.

Am so getting American Beauty, haven't seen it as not $40 here.

There are some that I want, though other than some of the newer release titles that are included, it's not really the greatest promotion, especially since many of the titles were just available in the B2G1F promotion.

21 Jump Street is now a part of Sanity's 3 for $40. Pretty good deal for something so new.
