How isn't it? Miami, Clemson, and Florida State are rising back to the top. Those are three potential powerhouses for the long haul with the coaches we all respectively have in place.

I don't think CPJ is the reason, but I do think this is probably his last year.

And if they hire Petrino, I'm done. But I'm guessing enough people in Atlanta hate him that they won't come close.

No way they hire him. If he wasn't the Falcons coach, then it would be a slam dunk. But he has way too many enemies in that city.

They should throw tons of money at Charlie Strong.

It's getting better in football. Then again it can't get much worse considering where the conference was the past few years. In basketball the ACC is going to be as good as it's ever been once Pitt, Syracuse and Notre Dame all join

I never really understood why Strong didn't get better offers than Louisville. He had as good a resume as you'll find for an assistant coach coming out of Florida. If I were Arkansas I'd offer Strong the HC job there. He's from Arkansas and could probably revive that program.

Today was another epic disaster for Arkansas losing to Texas A&M 58-10. So far the only team they've beaten is Jacksonville St. and their other 4 games...

lost to LA-Monroe 34-31
lost to Alabama 52-0
lost to Rutgers 35-26
lost to Texas A&M 58-10

Yup, we played absolutely horrible again. It's sad to watch all the kids on OSU make the same catches that Hockies dropped all day. The talent isn't there this year and our defense looks as bad as ever. Something has to change.

*seriously I do worry he isn't going to be a 300 yard guy the way Brady, Rodgers, Brees, exc. are. I can't tell if its simply a by-product of one of the worst lines in the NFL, play calling, or he just can't do it (would worry me )
