BluRay file extensions and folders on PC?

I'm curious.. if you rip a bluRay movie to the harddrive.. what are the file extensions and folder names that it creates?

Do you then just open PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 (which says it supports BluRay) and play these extensions?

Ripping is illegal.

Even if you do rip a BD, playback has been disabled in the playback software most people use(PowerDVD Ultra) ... so it's a waste of time anyways.

It was my understanding that BD's support a "managed" copy for those of us with Video Servers?

Is this not true?

Either way, from a technical standpoint, I'm curious what the BD disc structure and file extensions are.. compared to DVD.

AACS and BD+ are a no-no to break/decrypt so we can copy the discs.

m2ts are what the file extensions are...

Updated versions of PowerDVD apparently have playing from a hard drive taken away. If you have a UDF 2.5 driver you can see the files on the disc, nothing is "hidden".
