We're making a lot of miscues, but Notre Dame's defense is legit. They have shut down our high powered offense. Our young team is playing well, but we seem a bit overmatched tonight.

South Carolina is damn impressive tonight. That defense is scary.

Geno Smith has done nothing to hurt his Heisman chances tonight. He has 3 TD, 0 Int and 235 yards passing so far with WVU up 34-31. He now has 23 TD's and 0 picks for the season. Even if it's not tonight WV's crappy defense will do them in sooner or later.

Didn't even realize it till just now but Geno Smith is a south Florida guy. Born there and played HS football at Miramar.

murray is garbage and probably the most overrated player in college football...and the #1 pick in next years draft will be clowney when he comes out, wont even be close

On defense. Geno Smith is the most dominant on offense.

But if you're in need of a QB, you're not taking a defensive end.

The #1 pick will not go to a pass rusher. It'll be a QB, and I suspect it will be Smith.

I don't really care who he's facing when he's putting up video game numbers. But he did carve apart Clemson last year as well.

Without Geno, West Virginia is definitely 3-2, and possibly 2-3.

Looking at WV's schedule I'm not seeing anything like an SEC defense all year. I bet he continues on this torrid pace. WV has a lucky draw too. The three ranked opponents left on their schedule are all home games for them. I bet they still drop a game or two though. Undefeated season seems unlikely. Their defense will doom them sooner or later.

Barring a complete disaster the rest of the season Geno should easily be the Heisman frontrunner.
