Looks like South Carolina will jump all the way to #3 in the next poll. Of course they have a very tough next two games - @Florida and @LSU.

I know there isn't much love here for Ohio State or Big Ten, but the Buckeyes offense looked better than it has in the last few weeks. Defense showed flashes of improvement. It's kind of funny to think that the highest ranked Big Ten team isn't even bowl eligible. Oh, we'll. If we can go undefeated this season, I'll be happy with that.

What really is too bad is Ohio St. not imposing their own bowl ban last season. Had they skipped that bowl game in 2011 they probably would have been allowed to play in the 2012 post-season, which may well have been a BCS game. Looking at Ohio St.'s schedule I'll bet they're 10-0 going into the final two games against Wisconsin and Michigan.

It's also funny that the top 2 teams in the "Leaders" division are banned from the B1G championship game.

This OSU team kind of reminds me of the 1993 Auburn situation. That Auburn team was on probation and unable to play either on TV or in the post-season. Nevertheless they went 11-0, the only undefeated SEC team. I think they ended the season ranked #3 or 4.

Yeah, not really sure what they were thinking regarding the bowl game. What's the point of going to a bowl game anyway with a 6-7 record?

At least we will be eligible next year!

True, but if we win the division, we will still be awarded with the Leaders Division trophy. We just can't play for the B1G Ten Championship.

Anyone else think Casey Pachall's "indefinite" suspension by TCU will end up being not so indefinite? The kid has a lot of issues but he's a terrific college QB. Trevone Boykin is only a freshman and was clearly not ready to take over as starting QB.

TCU's schedule the last 4 games of the season are absolutely brutal.

@ West Virginia
vs. Kansas St.
@ Texas
vs. Oklahoma

All four are top-20 teams. Talk about a backloaded schedule.

What the heck happened to UCLA today? They got smashed 43-17 by a Cal team that was 1-4.

Im so done with FSU. No way we should have lost that game, it was all set up the easiest road to the NC game and they lose to NC state

You're a much better team now than a few years ago when Fisher took over. It takes time to build a powerhouse program. Your defense is terrific, but your offense needs to find consistency from game to game. I can't wait for our matchup in two weeks, it's one awesome rivalry!

If I had to bet, I'd say the honor of become Alabama's December victim will be decided in Gainesville in two weeks. Florida's defense was outstanding yesterday, and South Carolina's was playing out of their minds. As an old-school SEC fan, I enjoyed watching them.

I look forward to seeing those two teams duking it out. You fans of high-powered offenses might want to look away.

South Carolina was damn impressive last night. That was a talented Georgia team they stomped. But the next two weeks will tell us if they are a national title contender or not.

even alabama would have trouble playing UGA, then go on the road to play LSU and FLA

Yeah I agree with you it takes time but that game was a game you can't let get away. I knew they were going to blow the game when E.J threw the Int, when they could have made it an three score game. I guess I was hoping we were back and should just let the season play out like a usually do. On another note ND looks like they are back man they looked good against you guys.
