United Kingdom Zone Of The Enders: HD Collection

I did a search and can't find an thread regarding this game so thought I'd start one off!

Play.com (UK) has the release date at 3 February but I haven't seen or heard anything about this?

Discuss.....

P.S. I do this all from work so, unfortunately, I'm unable to add photos/links/vidoes.

Heres from my other post a while ago in the Vita section.

Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders HD Collections Coming to Vita Too

Quote:
PlayStation Vita owners will have even more high-def versions of classic games to play on the go as Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has revealed that the previously announced Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders HD collections will also come to Vita.

Those games are said to use the "Transfarring" system, meaning players can enjoy playing high-def versions of PlayStation 2 iterations of Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders on their PS3, then pick up the game on their Vita.

Kojima Productions will bring those HD collections to Vita sometime in 2012.

Hmm. A demo for a Metal Gear game with ZoE. Things just never seem to change.

Exactly! Are there any HD gameplay videos of the games?

Haven't seen any to confirm that so far, but I'm pretty certain there are some.

You guys make it sound like there's been 6 games of this series, with each one having a Metal Gear Demo.

I pre-purchased it, but have not yet picked it up from the store yet.

Yeah i picked up my LE copies yesterday (though I am playing it on the 360 since it has higher, more consistent frame rates in 2nd Runner, also the MGR:R demo is on a disc so I can take it to my friend's house so they can play it too). I have only seen my friend play the first ZoE so far, and it looks great. I've never played it in the past (just 2nd Runner), but it seems pretty cool. I could do with out the kiddy main character, but his name is similar to mine, and I like the music. The MGR:R demo was pretty cool too.

Thanks! I'm definitely picking this up as I enjoyed the original back in the PS2 days! I never got to play the second game so this gives me a better chance to get involved in the story!

Has there been any kind of patch for this yet does anyone know? I heard it did have some issues. I really don't even know if there is plans for a patch or if the issues are all that bad.

I just never played them on ps2 so figured of course I'd get the ps3 ones, but with so many games I have yet to play I might as well wait this one out if it has issues. If it's fine I might get it much sooner though, always wanted to play...

My friend picked this up and is loving it. It isn't normally my style of game but the way he's loving it and talking about it, can't be too bad. Probably give it a shot

I picked up my copy, but I haven't had the chance to sit down and play. I'm going to try and get a late night session in sometime this weekend.

I've played both on PS2 (Still own both imports) and I look forward to playing through this again.

Wasn't this supposed to be one of the big 'game transfer' releases with Vita? The game came out and I didn't even realize it so I'll probably go pick up the hardcopy PS3 version tomorrow, but I don't see anything on the Vita release
