Since my UK Coffin is still not here though it dispatched on October 1 via Royal Mail, I will PRETEND that I am watching The Invisible Man in glorious 1080p since I can't see it anyway.

Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow.

Haven't been on this thread lately, so mea culpa if this has been mentioned before: Has anyone watched the so-called "archives" for each film? Basically a slide show set to music, including lobby cards and shots from the production, etc. Well, they ported it over in SD and it looks like garbage. I get that the documentaries were shot in SD, but these still images could have easily been re-scanned to take advantage of the higher resolution. I have no complaints about the films, but this is a ridiculous short coming for an otherwise terrific set.

Rats!!! Didn't get my UK coffin in the mail today, although that would've been a longshot. I guess it will be here tomorrow.
Heck I can't complain, too much, as my Play.com Terminator steelbook did arrive!

USPS or DHL? i dont live that far from Bristol and ive already gotten my regular mail and i didnt get it. anyone in the US who got theres from DHL: did your tracking update once it was delivered?

the standard uk set is a piece of crap ... i wish i had ordered the pricey us set w the sturdy cardboard housings instead of the rickety plastic double decker accordion which is a perfectly ugly way to scratch the discs ... i saved 50 bucks and screwed myself ... im plotting a solution ... Royal mail transferred to the USPS. DHLGA will still come by the USPS too.

i was amazed my dhl came within a week, not including the holiday since usually dhl takes 2 weeks or more in past experiences.

very good service by amazon.co.uk in my opinion

My coffin set came earlier today. Had to watch ET first, but I'm diving into this set now. Popped in Creature momentarily to check out the 3D, and now I'm watching Dracula. GREAT SET!

Yea seems like it! Mine is about 2hrs away from where I live on the west. It's been updated that it has been handed over to usps...

YAY! Mine arrived today! I went and checked my mail and had a package pick-up notice so went inside and got it. As with others on here, mine too was shipped in just a plain brown Amazon box with no padding and the end flaps of the box weren't even taped shut. My inside box was slightly creased on the top and bottom but nothing major. The corners were pretty sharp still. Inside contents were amazing! I love this boxset!!!!

Only works on dhlga tracking numbers. Royal mail doesn't have any tracking at all.

DHL always worries me -- My shipping email stated and I cringed. Expected delivery date October 26 -- is DHL Global different than this. I can't remember the last package that didn't come Royal Mail

DHLGA is horrible. Already know this because they screw up my address every time. I have had 2 items be returned undeliverable and 2 lost completely by them so cannot say I blame you.
