Still, for the Extended Editions of LOTR, all of the digital copies are SD. Not an awful thing if viewing on a small phone or iPad screen. But if you plan to use the Vudu app on a big screen TV to watch it then it's not so great. But why would I want to do that if I have the blu-ray discs? Upstairs in my bedroom I do not have a BD player, but I can watch Vudu movies on the TV in that room. There's a huge difference in the viewing and audio quality between SD and HDX. All UV copies should be available in HDX. When viewing to phones and ipads, the file will automatically stream in SD (which makes sense). |

I do hope they can commission her to do a song for one of "The Hobbit" films though, as "Into the West" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. |

Just watched "May It Be" on YouTube. Somehow I managed to completely miss it all these years. Now I can't stop listening to it! I'm also finding myself wanting to listen to that song in the Hobbit trailer too...

Just wondering (sorry if its been posted already). But is there any difference in the individual blu-rays and the complete extended box-set edition? i.e. Do the individuals have any more/less content? Because I want to buy the extended blu-rays, but am not sure about the differences. All help appreciated.

And yes, the EE's whether you buy them individually or as a set, have a lot more content than the theatrical edition Blu-releases. |

I have a question. Does the BOXSET of blu-ray 'extended edition' includes something that the INDIVIDUAL 'extended edition' blu-rays does not? You can e-mail me your answer to yanieloroman@hotmail.com. Thankyou.

I'm not sure of the answer, but I would edit your post and remove your e-mail address unless you like a TON of SPAM. The internet bots will pick up on the e-mail address so fast, your head will spin!

I asked the same question a couple of posts ago. "kdo" said that they are the same content wise. Also, I agree the with ckenisell, edit your post and remove your email.

What's really messed up about these individual releases is that everyone could have gotten them for cheaper than their individual prices if they had purchased the boxed sets last Christmas. I ended up getting my copy for $15, the actual sales price was $50 during the 2011 Black Friday sale. These are, what, $25 for each film?
