I'm not a fan of revisionism in any form.

I'd much rather Pixar focus on new stories for new films of their own, thanks.

No, they should not remake classics. They should give us Finding Nemo and Toy Story on Blu-ray first.

Love Pixar, especially Cars.

No way on the face of the earth should Pixar ever touch the classics. Pixar may have had some great movies but if they are ever going to remake classics they need to be live action because that is where the money is at. Plus they have more creative freedom. With Pixar it's just animation once again and it will be the same story. Real people could bring real depth to the stories.

A computerized version of the Mona Lisa is not the Mona Lisa. Remaking films, especially animation, is not creating new art. The answer to the question is NO!

pixar seems to overexagerate characteristics in humans (big eyes, big head, big chin, big hair, etc.) so disney movies that deal with humans mainly is a BIG, BIG NO!

However, if they did the job right I wouldn't mind seeing some pixar remakes of things like Fifo, Great Mouse Detective, etc. They should leave Lion King alone though, don't mess with a classic.
