I absolutely prefer Lugosi, but the Spanish version is still enjoyable. Hey, thanks to someone not coming up with the idea of subtitles yet, we have an extra Dracula to watch!
And Lupita Tovar is so much more fun to watch than Helen Chandler! (Her intro to the film, ported from the DVD, is fun, too!)

Not to be pushy here, but my finger is hovering over the buy button. Can anyone at least confirm that the transfers are the same? Will extras work?

The sets are exactly the same in all regards except for a commentary on Dracula from the screenwriter of the spoof, "Dracula: Dead and Loving It". I think there might also be an introduction(Spanish Dracula?) to one of the movies missing as well. That is the differences between the US and UK sets. Individual movies from the UK are the same as the ones in their sets.

As I'm sure you know, for the price of three of the individual movies you could get the entire UK set. Why not just buy the set and put the movies in individual boxes if you hate the big sets? Or, you could even sell the individual movies you don't like on Ebay. Just a suggestion.

Nice afternoon for you watching Re-Animator and waiting for packages. I went to my mailbox(big enough for most over sized packages) hoping and again came away disappointed, damn DHLGA.

Total bummer, no UK coffin set today! For whatever reason it did not go on the delivery truck and is scheduled for tomorrow! One more day is not the end of the world, I suppose!

No, not at all, I understand 100%. I hate those big set boxes as well. I can't stand having to open up the set case and pulling apart the accordion style disc holder to get to the movie. I'm transferring the movies to individual Blu-ray cases and just putting the coffin on top of my shelf for display.

I got the UK Monsters set. The box cover itself was a little bit scrunched on the top and bottom (what, Amazon couldn't have put this into a box, instead of one of those cardboard things where the ends come open so easily?). The set looks good and I love the booklet. Also got Harvey.

Lol, you mean the "frustration free" packing material? Yes, that stuff is the worst. Half my stuff either arrives with one of the flaps open or the box dinged up. The only good thing is they usually still wrap the stuff in that hard plastic. At least the discs seem to stay in place. I wish they would just go back to the solid boxes with the cardboard sleeve at the bottom and your stuff wrapped in the hard plastic.

Here is a 2D one minute clip of "Creature from the Black Lagoon" I watched about 15 minutes of the 3D and it was really incredible... I saw great depth and some nice pop outs such as the creatures fossilized hand sticking out at me....

Will do I will post either later tonight or tomorrow.

I watched Creature in 3D and it was awesome. The 3D transfer was great and I had no problem with the disc. Julie Adams is even hotter in 3D. . The scenes with the creature reaching toward you were so cool.
Kudos to Universal for a job well done.

[Regarding the size of the Poster Cards]

For anyone else thinking about it - i.e. those who dislike the gatefold cases for multi-disc sets - that just happens to be the perfect size to fit the front of an empty blue plastic Blu-ray case.

Well it looks like I got a defective creature disc and a mummy one as well. So I contacted Amazon UK and they are refunding my card for the set. Well I may end up getting the USA set after all to make sure I have them in time for Halloween
