For all others ordering from Sainsbury's just thought I'd mention if you click on outstanding orders, it should says "Preparing for Dispatch" under the order status. Not sure if its always been like that, but fingers crossed we'll receive a receive the dispatch email soon.

They're not just UK, its all over.

But I guess it could mean other titles related to this series will be released as digibooks, so could be more uniform for your shelf. I'm not fussed by that.

May go coffin, still unsure. These are classics and I don't collect digibooks but this classic monsters may look cool and have nice info etc

do you know where i can get these digibooks?

Have a look on the digibook/collector thread universal 100 years digibook releases. Don't listen to bitter people like sinthetic, they have bought a coffin but would prefer these digis. I'm still unsure as never bought digibook a before.

Most have release dates for November December. These titles announced but no street date expect jan 2013

Let's see sources to back up your statement. I've looked and can't see anything that validates your claims.

I haven't committed to buying any release of this yet friend. I'm definitely not bitter, but you certainly are assumptive.

TBA? That's solid confirmation there. >.>

Where did the guy who posted that get his information from? Until I see it on a press release or something... That's as valid as me letting you all know that I won the lottery last night.

Without proof, nothing is confirmed.

And you’re just purely dismissive for the sake of it. Hunt around for info, Bluraydigibooks.com, hidefninja carry some info. You seem so quick to piss on someones chips, could only think it was because you bought the coffin and wished you waited. Why else would you bother posting such a blunt negative response...with no knowledge??

Jaws wasn’t going to be released as a Digibook – someone on this forum even emailed Universal to ask and was told by them it will not be released. The UK digibook comes out 6th November 2012.

All I’ve said is I’ve read these Universal Monster films will be released as digibooks. Almost all US digibooks get released in France or Germany if not in the UK. We’ve had The Sting 100th AE Digibook amongst others.

I can certainly see Frankenstein and Dracula get released, along with the other titles. Other Universal titles look good as digibooks, so was only posting my dilemma.. Coffin or wait for these as they will be available and maybe suit my shelf a little more?

Dude, I HAVEN'T GOT THE COFFIN.

I've got as much knowledge as you, it seems.

It's your call, wait for the singular DB releases (that have no date) or buy the set that is already out (and priced extremely cheaply).

I don't see Creature From The Black Lagoon or Invisible Man in those potential digibook lists either, so you'd still be short a couple of titles.

Yeah, thats a dilemma too. But if Universal are too release that list, most already have dates, they might add to it and include Phantom of the Opera plus others.

Not looking to buy the box until around Xmas, so depends on any news on confirmed dates etc for the digis. May go for this set and just add the odd digi?

The Birds didn't have a release date either for Blu Ray when those Augmented Reality Sleeves were released .... Things change.

You can buy the singular DB which cost £10 each and are NOT digibooks
