No. What kind of issues?

I still have yet to watch the Wolf Man, Phantom and Creature but all the others have been fine. The only issue I've had is a couple of times in one or other of the films the sound has dropped out for a second or two, but when I rewind a bit and play it's fine, so I think that's my player rather than the discs.

On my Mummy disc you can see there is a few spots that look lighter in colour. In my set it's only the Mummy disc , it freezes at 14 min. in.
On the USA thread others have problems as well with the UK set (not always the Mummy)

I got some stuttering in Dracula (first 5 minutes or so) the first time I watched it. It seemed okay the second time after I turned off the monster tracks feature.

The only other movie I've watched so far is The Wolf Man and that seemed to play okay.

Still no movement from Amazon on my order so have cancelled and trying my luck again with Sainsbury's (who have now changed their stock status from 6 days to 1 day so hoping they've got some).

My player has been known to do that

My old setup used to do that too. Actually I think it was the Yamaha DSP-A1 amp rather than the player because t happened with HD-DVD movies played using an XBox and with Blu-rays played using a PS3. My new HDMI-based setup never does it :-)

Frankenstein last night for me and again it looked stunning and dare i say slightly better PQ than Dracula.
The make up and special effects would not look out of place in today's horror films.

Well good luck to those who ordered via Sainsburys, i gave them 10 days after release and then i had enough, shoddy considering i ordered 6 weeks before release. Zavvi came through and delivered within 3 days, for the sake of £4 it was worth it.

People who ordered from Sainsbury's should have received their dispatch email, I got mine yesterday. Don't mind waiting tbh, only cost £30 for the coffin version (with discounts applied).

That's great and if i wasn't to bothered whether i got it all not then i would have left my pre-order with them. However, my correspondence with them gave me no confidence that the order would be fulfilled, so i took my business elsewhere!

I still can't get over how stunning the transfers look. I was afraid of a very heavy-grain image, but was glad to find a clean image for such an old movie - very impressive.

Be nice

And do any/all of the films in the UK Set have those hideous, cheap-looking Symbol only menus, like on the UK Jaws BD?
