Its much easier to call it after the hint, but I'll take a wild guess and say, I don't know...
"New Year's Evil"? Maybe, maybe not.
I like soo have the vibe that this will be announced on Friday. I've had that feeling all week! Bring on the "New Year's Evil"...

We aren't just talking about any old movie. The Town that Dreaded Sundown is on a completely different level than The Evictors. Just sayin'. Its like putting Halloween with Hocus Pocus...

And I hope this isn't even an issue, I'd really hate to miss out on The Town that Dreaded Sundown because of it being Double Packaged.

A dvd/bd combo pack is the same as doing double features if you think about it, that's why they changed The Island and Death Valley when it was decided to go BD, right?

OK I got one that desperately needs a decent release and its "Blood Rage" aka "Nightmare at Shadow Woods". What do you guys think about this film?

The Beast Within and Spellbinder.

Honestly, without a hint, it could be anything...except The Howling or The Fog.

There are 2 movies called "Death Scream".

One is from the mid 70s and star Cloris Leechman and is about a New York block that sees a murder, but no one will admit to seeing it out of fear. Its a true story and was very good. Its also known as "Street Kill".

One is from 1981 and is a slasher movie about, well... a slasher, at a carnival. Its also known as "House of Death" or something along those lines.

There are 2 movies called "Blood Rage".

One is from the late 70's and goes by the aka title of "Never Pick Up a Stranger". Its about a guy's journey to becoming a serial killer and going to New York to hunt hookers.

One is from the early 80s and is also known as "Nightmare at Shadow Woods". Its about twins, one good and one bad. Its the only "Thanksgiving" slasher I've ever seen!

All four of them are good movies in their own way. Maybe one day they'll get decent releases. Maybe "Death Scream" (the 2nd one) and "Street Kill" could fit into Scream Factory's schedule one day.

No, they're 99% likely to come at the live announcement on Nov. 16th. That's when they reveal all the "biggies" and the rest of the remaining movies from their MGM deal.

Are you sure there announcing the remaining movies from their MGM deal because that's the first I've heard about that. As far as I know, all Scream Factory said is that they will be announcing some big titles at their panel but that was the extent of it. I feel like if they announced the remaining titles from their MGM deal that there won't be many titles to announce for the rest of the year, if any at all.

New Year's Evil seems like a good guess. Maybe they'll go with a holiday themed movie since this will be the last announcement before Halloween (10/31). I don't think MGM has any other holiday themed horror films. Of course, we'll know more if and when the hint drops...

I was under the impression that they were going to be announcing films for a long time to come.

This came from Scream Factory's Facebook page last week, from the sounds of it, I'd be surprised if they announced more than a handful but they definitely seem to be big titles that have been highly requested. I'm thinking "The Fog" and "The Howling" are shoe ins:

"Also to tease, we'll be announcing - in person - some highly requested titles that we are planning for a "Collector's Edition" at the HorrorHound Weekend convention in Indianapolis on Nov 16th. (But no worries if you can't attend, we'll share them very soon afterwards on here we promise!) :-)"

That's actually a great point! I'm really hoping "New Year's Evil" gets announced at some point. That's my most desirable MGM MOD to make the leap to Blu-ray at this point.

I bought it on release day but haven't gotten around to checking it out yet. I've read nothing but great things. Very before it's time apparently. Looking forward to viewing it!

If you don't like Terror Train or The Funhouse, the odds are pretty slim that you'll enjoy Town That Dreaded Sundown.

I know it's untouched territory, but AB's license to Day of the Dead, Demons 1 & 2, Suspiria (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong on that one), and another title just ran out of licensing from Anchor Bay.

Could Scream Factory get any of those titles?

I'd kill for some new extras and a new transfer for Day of the Dead.

They did it for Halloween 2, and I'd say Day of the Dead is just as big in the horror community as H2.

Demons 1&2 have damn good transfers already done, so they could be a possibility

So you wouldn't buy Town at all if it was bundled with The Evictors? And you call yourself a fan of the former? I don't expect you'll find any pity here.

I don't love or hate it. I just think it's alright, about average. However, I'm excited that my copy should arrive today.

Got it on DVD, which has some decent special features on it too.
