Michael Bay manages to create the exact movie he sets out to create, so even if you hate that movie, he's done exactly what he wanted to do. Yep... in addition to the fact that few people outside the business realize how difficult it is to create the sequences that he does. Like him or not, he's a great director in a pure visual sense.
