Blu-ray Guru

Actually I liked him better in RIO GRANDE than either RED RIVER or SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON (or even FORT APACHE or THE SEARCHERS)... and Olive has a great-looking Blu-ray of RIO GRANDE that's just as good as Warner's Blu-ray of FORT APACHE. Lots of great Wayne titles on Blu-ray already, and I'm anxiously awaiting THE QUIET MAN, the best of his career.
I'm also really hoping Olive will bring to Blu-ray another severely underrated Wayne non-western for Republic, A MAN BETRAYED (1941), and this being election month would have been an ideal time to release it. |
