The icing on the cake would be a 3D conversion of Die Hard, with the same kind of care and attention that Titanic got.

Well Amazon now have listed new releases for all the Die Hard Fox releases (so that's all except Disney's Die Hard 3 release).

You have to be kidding I bought the quadrilogy set this year. I wonder if Die Hard will have a new transfer?

I only bought mine a few weeks ago but then again that is because they are well down my pecking order of favourite films so I am happy with what I have got.

If it look's better then yes I would be interested but I would wait on a price drop,I just wouldn't be in a rush to grab them.

Die Hard looks entirely appropriate to how and when it was shot, if this potential SE uses the exact same video encode I will be very pleased.

The amazon dates are listed for January 2013, I guess Fox want these versions released to shill the new film, then they can sell the boxset when 5 comes out on video. I hope that they're more than mere cash-ins, but won't be selling my quadrilogy just yet....

It's an action classic. I'd pick up a 25th Anniversary release for sure, if only to upgrade my 5-Star Collection DVDs (remember those!)

Can't wait for this, hope it's a proper transfer this time. If Bochner's doing the commentary it's probably a full-cast one, hopefully including Willis.

I hope they won't force us to buy a box-set to get this. There's no way I'm soiling my shelf with that rancid, juvenile, neutered, dumb-as-hell pretend Die Hard film (DH4).

I'm betting the "2 discs" are all blu-ray + DVD.

You're wrong! Die Hard would be ruined entirely, if it was converted in 3D.
