My sources inside Sony have been telling me quite consistently over the past several months that God of War III is not coming until 2009. Don't get your hopes up, folks.

God of War 2 said that chains of olympus was coming soon 2007, and now its 2008.

There is no way this is going to be out before March-June of next year.

Do yourself a favor and pick up the first two games. You can probably get them really cheap from ebay or in a bargain bin somewhere. You won't regret it.

Exactly. Look how long it took to develop the PSP God of War. And that should be easier to develop for than the PS3. My prediction -- no God of War 3 until AT LEAST Winter of 2009. I wouldn't even be surprised if it gets pushed back to around March 2010.

didn't they delay it because sony finally lifted the mhz cap on the psp to the full 333mhz?
