Although you may not personally care for those movies, they are hardly "bad" films. Both have garnered critical praise, success at the box office, and awards. If you want to complain about a Brad Pitt movie there's always Meet Joe Black and The Mexican; two films that got bad reviews and flopped at the box office. Daniel Day Lewis has been very selective about roles throughout his career. Although I've not seen all his movies, as far as I can tell he hasn't had a real misfire yet.

Ding ding ding! Thats exactly why this is just another thread about opinions. No facts here. Just because a film gets good reviews and makes money doesnt mean its a good film. To me TWBB is a bad film and are u sure it made money at the box office? Regardless that is why these threads are pointless. Its just good to discuss. I form my own opinion and dont care what a critic says or these silly award shows say. Now if the OP wants us to list actors who have never been in a bad film based of reviews and box office success then thats one thing. However he didnt specify that so Im sure he wants our opinion if the film is bad or not. Got Em!!

Interesting topic. I think the answer may actually be in supporting roles. My question is does OP mean X actor has never starred in a bad movie or X actor has only starred in good movies? The questions are a bit different because the majority of movies fall somewhere in the "alright" category, not quite good but not quite bad.

Once upon a time I might have said Geoffrey Rush but then Pirates 3 hit. Anthony Hopkins has become to inconsistent lately for this conversation. I could probably safely say Jimmy Stewart.

Fassbender was in X-Men: First Class which is the worst of the X-men movies. He was easily the best part of the movie but not even to take it out of Bad Movie territory.

Catinca Untaru, only because she has been in 1 full length movie call The Fall.

He's an incredible actor but Nine was not a good film. Luckily it was so forgettable that most assume that Lincoln is his first role since There Will Be Blood.

To be honest Ive only seen one bad film from Denzel and that is The Pelican Brief. If it wasnt for that film he would be about the only actor who hasnt been in a bad film. Got Em!!
