I wish they'd put the text above the title on a sticker and not the cover itself, but I like the design - much better than the Second Sight cover. Nice touch using the tagline font from the VHS.

while i dont hate it or anything, that seems kind of weak for Jeff Zornow. i wouldnt have guessed that was him, his work is usually better or at least more distinctive.

I think the artwork looks cheap and very amateur... Sticking to the original artwork on this one...

I always use the original artwork, but I appreciate when effort and style are used for new art, as it's overwhelmingly terrible 99% of the time. Between the photoshopped floating heads of the studios (and their misleadingly 'modern' treatment of classic films) and the crude, juvenile sketches of Arrow and their ilk, decent covers are a rarity indeed.

Really digging the "From Beyond" cover art. Zornow is a personal favorite artist of mine, always appreciated his style and "From Beyond" certainly seems to cater to more of his artistic skills. Well done!

No offense to anybody, hell I've done it one time, but can we keep our dream lists in our dreams? I'm only asking because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to read through 100+ pages of posts just to find the latest news or rumors or questions Cliff is giving answers too. I'm asking respectfully I love this site, the format, and the people here posting.

Scream Factory are good people they're slowly giving us what we want little by little. We all know when it comes to acquiring the rights to films, sitting people down for commentaries and new interviews all take a lot of time. They're going to provide us with what's available to them and hopefully it's all something we will want, but Cliff is a busy man I'm sure, how many of these lists do you think he reads through?

I don't wanna start a riot I just wanna be able to find the more important posts and hear the latest on the status of films they are looking into. I'm not saying you're posts aren't important. It just seems like things are going off the rails here a bit.

As far as another scoop for you guys, I mentioned this in "The Burning" thread but what the hell... Nathan Thomas Milliner, the artist behind the covers for "Halloween II", "III", "Terror Train" and "The Funhouse" will be offering his services for "The Burning" and "Night of the Comet". If his previous covers are anything to go on, Nathan is sure to knock both of these out of the park!

I almost hold "The Burning" above "Friday The 13th", Tom Savini did great work on both. Thanks for the news, really want to see what he comes up with, there haven't been much out there as far as artwork for "The Burning."

If they do make a universal deal again, these titles seems like a fit for Scream to pick up:

- Shocker
- People Under the Stairs
- Serpent and the Rainbow
- Prince of Darkness
- Village of the Damned
- Sssssss!
- Raising Cain
- Psycho 2/3/4
- Jaws 2/3/4

And is "Exterminator 2" going to be Shout! or Scream!?
I think its action/horror/thriller -and Synapse played off the 1st ones blu-ray to appeal with horror fans, making it look and seem scarier, and I think it could work under the Scream! banner...

Also, I like the artwork for "From Beyond", I hate the movie but am going to purchase it anyway to support them. But I do like the art. Its a million times better than the "Prison" artwork.

It's certainly constructive speculation to discuss potential Universal, Empire, and MGM titles that Shout may have acquired or may acquire in the future. In the early days of this thread, people were just posting random wish lists that had nothing to do with reality. I remember someone requesting Halloween 4 and 5, despite the fact that AB had just released them a month ago. I certainly see no harm in the discussion of potential releases, as long as they are informed and reasonable suggestions, as opposed to pointless and arbitrary wish lists. Barn Door's list was a prime example of the kind of worthwhile and informed post that we should be encouraging. The thread only goes 'off the rails' when people litter it with junk like requests for Sony or WB titles, or other releases that Shout will never get.

I wish he was doing the fog, I REALLY don't want that one to get messed up by another artist, but I'm sure whatever they pick will be good enough. Milliner's art is just so great, though!

To be honest, I'm not really sure what there release strategy will be for that one. If I had to guess, I'm going to say that it will be a solo cult release not associated with the Scream Factory line but again that's just a guess.

I could see several of the non-horror titles like Exterminator 2 or Unholy Rollers being bare-bones website exclusives via Shout Select, like Fear City and some of the Corman discs.

I really want this one to look like the Fright Rags T Shirt, being foggy with no real solid edges, so it's suit the film.

I don't know, I mean after all Synapse did put the original "The Exterminator" out on a Blu-ray combo last year so Shout may want to ride the trail of that release since it's a sequel. In addition, "The Unholy Rollers" is another film that they were working on getting for quite a while so I doubt they'd want to just push it right into the Shout Select line. Of course, this is just my opinion.
