i wouldn't draft Barkley unless i had the 20th pick or later in the draft. way too risky imo. he's shown flashes, but even those flashes don't really impress because he has a lot of talent around him. put him on KC and / or some other teams with less than stellar talent at HB and WR and Barkley diminishes imo.

i just don't see him being anything special. a solid back-up? maybe. a solidified starter? absolutely not.

amazing considering i've never known who plays opposite of him. look at Matthews, without someone on the other side to worry about, he gets shut down. by Ware just keeps going. terrific player who doesn't get the recognition he deserves, which is shocking since he is a Cowboy...

No way he'll fall that low. He's going to be a top five pick, and most likely top two. I agree that he has a ton of talent around him as USC, but I do think he'll be a good NFL quarterback. He'd certainly be a magnificent upgrade over what several NFL teams have now at quarterback. Both the Jags and Chiefs desperately need a quarterback, and I can't decide yet which quarterback is going to be taken first. (Barkley or Smith)

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey announced at Monday's presser that Chad Henne will start in Week 12 "based on performance."
Blaine Gabbert is questionable with an elbow injury, but Mularkey made clear his decision was performance based. It's likely Mularkey would have lost the locker room had he stuck with sinking stone Gabbert, so the decision is anything but surprising. Joe Namath — or Joe Flacco — Henne is not, but as he proved Sunday, he can at least head a competitive offense, something Gabbert has failed at time and time again since being installed in 2011. Henne will be a solid QB2 against the Titans' up-and-down defense, and upgrades the fantasy outlook of Cecil Shorts, Laurent Robinson and Justin Blackmon.

Fate you just beat me to this post lol

McGahee knocked out 6-8 weeks with torn MCL

ESPN reports Willis McGahee has been diagnosed with a torn MCL, and will be sidelined 6-8 weeks.

FOX's Jay Glazer reports McGahee is also dealing with a broken leg. It's a huge blow for the Broncos' humming offense, and ends McGahee's regular season. The playoffs begin six weeks from this Sunday. Players placed on injured reserve are not eligible for the postseason, so it's possible the Broncos will hold off on officially ending McGahee's year. Ronnie Hillman is now the Broncos' early-down back, with the lead-footed Lance Ball in line to handle passing downs. The Broncos will work out free agents on Tuesday. One month removed from his 31st birthday, McGahee is under contract for an affordable $2.5 million next season, but there's no guarantee he'll be back.

Belichick what a fail, why is arugably one of your best players in during a blow out game, let alone playing special teams for an extra point Then breaking his arm, keep running up that score, karma is a b*tch

As Rodney Harrison explained last night Patriots players on a special teams unit are expected to play the entire game. Gronk is a good blocker and is on the field goal/extra point squad, so it didn't matter that the game was a blowout, he was still expected to block on the extra point. It's a shame Gronk got hurt on such an irrelevant play but I don't have a problem with Gronk still being in the game at that point.

It's just in DWare's nature. He's never been a loud, boisterous Ray Lewis type player. Not that there is anythng wrong with that but DWare has never been a very vocal guy. Just quiet, class all the way. He has a chance to break the all time sack record if he stays healthy.

There is a reason why the NFL is turning into a league of pussies....it is because America is turning into a land of pussies. Nobody wants to see a team dominate anymore. Now it's all about when you are up big just slow down to be "nice" to the other team.

These guys are being paid millions upon millions on both sides of the ball. To heck with being nice. The defense is being paid big bucks to stop the offense so STOP THEM! It's not the offenses job to not score...it is the defenses job to stop the scoring.

And people seem to only complain about running up the score when the Pats do it. Last week the Ravens went for a fake field goal and scored a touchdown when they were up 41-17 and nobody complains about them running up the score.

I suggest you watch the video on John Mackey youtube.com/watch?v=aA2n2zk5Kuw and many others over the years, safety is a concern these players are 50x the athletes even from 20 years ago, also if you don't have adequate health care even 20 million can go down the drain quick if you've got serious medical costs.

There was quite a bit of commenting and complaining about the Ravens doing this. It was definitely mentioned on Mike and Mike and Sportscenter as questionable, and I know I saw it mentioned on a couple NFL discussion panels as well.
