I picked this up today at BB $34.99. What a rip off! I'll find this online cheaper and take it back. I also saw The Rookie. & for the first time Wallstreet. I know this has been out for a while but have never seen it.

Well like I said before I think the only thing wrong with it would be the original source... my only complaint is hair, it looks like they rendered them in layers where in the meltdown looks like they did the hairs individually. So without re-doing the whole movie this is what we get. Overall looks great though, comparable to meltdown, and the sound was awesome.

That is reason why i wont get this movie on Blue...the individual hairs on the annimals make animation movies a sight to behold on Blue-ray.

That's a strange attitude. Despite the hair issue mentioned above, I would think the Blu-ray version of Ice Age would be a substantial improvement over the DVD version. And the DVD doesn't have lossless audio. But hey, to each their own!

I picked this up lastnight as well...and like previous posters have said...was a little dissapointed in the looks of scat compared to The Meltdown. You can especially see it in his tail, looks like patches of hair that all move together at the same time...weird and kind of hard to explain.

Other than the hair, which is funny how big of an issue it is becoming, the movie looks beautiful. And the audio track is extremely well done. I still enjoyed it very much.

There should be coupons for $5 off any Blu-Ray at your Best Buy, good in the month of March.
