I could not find a place on this forum to sell, so I hope this is approved. I just bought a pair of RC-70s and have a pair of RC-50s for sale. The 50s are in great condition and have box and everything. Asking $525 including shipping. PM if interested.

I will not accept RC-Rs that are abused or in poor condition. Ask yourself if you would buy them once they are cleaned up. Would prefer non-smoking household origin.

I have energy cf70 for fronts and cc- 10 for center. My question is can verita v5.2 be paired with cf-70s. Would they sound good together or will verita over power cf-70s.

What would be the reason to change the CC-10 for the 5.2? I understand it is a far better speaker but if you are willing to keep the CF-70 I would keep the CC-10 for best match, I am sure it would not be so bad and not the Veritas would not overpower the CF-70.

do mean to use the veritas 5.1s for surrounds? if thats the case there shouldnt be an issue at all.

How do varitas compare to bowers and Wilkins towers cm9

been a while since Ive heard either, but I would suggest that a proper audition should be in order. The CMs to me have a little bit of a smokeyness to them that doesnt allow them to be fully transparent, its basically B&Ws house sound. However the CM9s bass is nice and tight, the mids are good, but not great. The Veritas speakers are more open in the highs and mids, and the bass is good as well, Id give the B&Ws a little of an edge in the bass depth. The highs are a little more aggressive on the Energys. Id say overall they are pretty close but it would depend on what sound you prefer the most, they both have strengths and weaknesses.

In all honesty, in that $2800+ price range, there are other speakers that I think are better then both.

What better speakers are there for that price range? I also noticed that only best buy sells cm9s and that they never really go on sale.

What kind music do you listen too? How big is your room? what kind of sound are you seeking in a speaker, forward, detailed, musical, involving, ability to disapear?

You could look at Dali Ikon, Focal Chorus, Elac and much more. those are not Best Buy brands as you see so they may be hard to find..

I read that as well and was surprised. Although you have to think something's going on at the prices they're selling all they're products for, they're really having some blowout sales on even the newer products. It will be a sad day to see them go as they have offered some great products over the years at some pretty good prices for the SQ the speakers produced. Have been very happy with the RC Minis in our bedroom setup.

well I had wondered, especially when Audiovox bought Klipsch I thought that might have been what was gonna happen. A big part of my desire to leave the Energy brand behind when I started to have the desire to upgrade was that Klipsch had purchased API, and wasnt sure where Klipsch would take them, so when they were bought by Audiovox, my thoughts were... maybe, hopefully theyll keep the Energy and Klipsch brands... But it is for not.

The speakers were of good quality at affordable prices.

Ill say Im glad I made the choice I did.

OH SURE...Just when I "Discovered" how nice the Energy Speakers are, they are "pulling the plug".

Last month, I bought my first pair of Energy Speakers, (RC-10) still breaking them in...(not at 100 hours yet)...Very Nice, Love Them !

Then on this "Black Friday Weekend", I bought a pair of Veritas V-Mini's. Just hooked them up yesterday.
The Smallest Speakers I've owned, but Very Impressed with the Build Quality and Sound.... Beautiful !

That's too bad.
At least they gave them a chance( with the new Veritas ) before pulling the plug.
Sure wish I had picked up a few more of the RC-LCRs or some of the RC-in walls, when they were in stock.
