received yet another title from the .CA pre-ordered at $10.49 documentary run time of 5 hours and 54 minutes compressed all in one disc. 1080p, but audio is only dd 2.0 link is for a low price point pre-ord $ will drop, and hope for a voucher

Ordered that Frankenweenie from Amz.com with their $8 coupon... hoping for a low price point come shipping... gotta watch though as their famous for dropping the price just after they ship it, making it ineligible for price protection...
Wonder if FS will do a Metal Pack for Frankenweenie and/or Wreck It Ralph?

I know that when I ordered a couple Blu-rays this past week for Black Friday sales, Amazon.ca had started my order into shipping process but hadn't technically shipped it yet when the price lowered. I asked to get the lower prices on my order, and they did it for me, but only because my order hadn't shipped as of yet and mentioned to me that their policy does not provide price protection once the product has shipped...

Checked it... The policy is 'up to the end of the day on release date'. It can be a little dicey as many Tuesday releases go into shipping status about 2 days ahead of time.

Like Neil was saying, the pre-order price guarantee gets you the lowest price at the end of release day. This has applied to me on a couple of orders on Amazon.com where the price of the item dropped during the release day even though it was shipped out a few days earlier so that it could arrive on release day. I ended up getting a price adjustment automatically done on it. One of the purchases i just made last week for Black Friday(not a pre-order) ended up dropping by $2 not even one day after my order was placed. The item was in shipping soon status, but had not technically been shipped out yet. I emailed Amazon and they did the adjustment, although the reply from the CSR was, we don't usually do this, but i'll make a one time exception. Seems to be the generic response they love to use.

Sorry guys, if any of you wanted to order the Due Date Blu-ray off Amazon.ca for $7.99 and haven't gotten around to it yet... you may have to wait a bit longer.
I ordered it from them and received just the single-disc blu-ray, so I wrote to them, and they sent me a replacement.... of the same thing. So I just chatted with them and said their description is for the combo pack with DVD and Digital Copy and has a different ASIN than their supposedly out-of-stock single disc, movie-only item of the title.

So the rep I chatted with pulled the listing from the site for investigation. I told them I'll keep the movie-only edition they have sent and she refunded me 20%, so that's alright... don't really care for the DVD or DC anyway, but the slip cover would have been nice...

Funny you should ask that... my The Final Destination 3D is being shipped from BC, and taking it's sweet time getting here too! By UPS of all companies.
