Man I feel sorry for Mack Brown. He hasn't had a QB since Colt McCoy and it seems like there D has took a step back. I won't surprised if he got the axe next. Two beat down's in a roll in the Red River Rivalry. If he stays next year will be a make or break year for him.

I believe it's going to be Louisville vs. FSU in the Orange Bowl. Right now from what I'm reading it's likely to be.

BCS Championship - Notre Dame vs. Alabama
Orange Bowl - FSU vs. Louisville
Rose Bowl - Wisconsin vs. Stanford
Fiesta Bowl - Kansas St. vs. Oregon
Sugar Bowl - Oklahoma vs. Florida

The 1998 Kansas St. has a pretty big collapse. They were 11-0 and just needed to win their last game to face Tennessee in the national championship. Instead they lost to Texas A&M 36-33 in OT in the Big-12 title game. They really got snubbed out of a BCS game only making the Alamo Bowl, where they laid another egg and finished 11-2. Bill Snyder's teams have a habit of doing this.

Aside from the National Championship, the Oklahoma vs. Florida match-up intrigues me the most, that should be a very good game.

did not anticipate the Badgers absolutely demolishing the Corn Huskers like that that was insane. over 530 yards rushing! 70 points and just non-stop destruction.

last year when the Badgers faced my Ducks it was a very fast paced game. this year against Stanford it's going to have a much different, much physical feel to it. hopefully the Badgers play with the same intensity to make it a game. the Big Ten needs them to look solid to give the conference some credibility.

and Bielema needs the win to keep his job imo. going to three straight Rose Bowls is terrific, but going 0-3 is terrible.

No way he loses his job. He has won three straight conference titles. Although that streak will end next year with Ohio State likely to make a national title run.

Stanford is still a 3 point favorite over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. Even after that beatdown Wisconsin is entering the Rose Bowl unranked.

Wisconsin's problem is 5 losses, and that's all most people see. But they lost 3 in OT, and 4 by 3 points. Their biggest loss was their loss to Ohio State in OT by a TD.

It appears that MACtion is taking its insanity to South Beach.

Although the official BCS standings will not be released until Sunday evening, Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel is reporting that Northern Illinois will be going to the Orange Bowl to face ACC champion Florida State.

"I think it's close," a person close to the Orange Bowl told CBSSports.com. "I think it maybe it's probably going to happen."

If it does happen Northern Illinois would become only the fifth school outside of the AQ conferences to qualify for a BCS bowl, and the first from the MAC. The other four schools are Boise State, TCU, Hawaii and Utah . Remarkably, in the 7 BCS bowls those teams have appeared in they have a record of 5-2, and one of those losses was by TCU against Boise State in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.

Northern Illinois is 12-1 on the season and won its second straight MAC title on Friday night, defeating Kent State 44-37 in double overtime.

How'd they get in over Louisville? Louisville won the Big East. They'll be in the Sugar Bowl since Oklahoma won't be available now.

Louisville won't be in a BCS bowl this season. Northern Illinois got the bid to the Orange Bowl over the Cardinals.

The Big East has a guaranteed spot. They won't soon, but they do right now.

The automatic qualifiers are:

ACC: Florida State
Big East: Louisville
Big 10: Wisconsin
Big 12: Kansas State
MAC: Northern Illinois (assuming top 16).
Pac 12: Stanford
SEC: Alabama, Florida

and Notre Dame.

So only 1 at-large spot open, which will certainly go to Oregon.

Yeah. And then they are talking about making an AQ spot from the top ranked team out of the current list of conditional AQ conferences and the Big East. It's why Boise and one of the other new teams is considering dumping the Big East.
