I only watch the Digital Copies if I'm at a friends house, or family members house.

UV and iTunes digital copies, yes, particularly when I am traveling or am sitting in bed with my iPad.

The DVDs, on the other hand, almost never get used. In fact, I'm not sure that I've ever used the DVD in a combo pack aside from when I first switched to blu-ray and only had one player in the house (which was in the living room, my dad's sanctuary). There were a handful of times I watched the DVD copy on my downstairs TV, but that was a rare occurrence.

As set as I was on getting the regular combo pack as recently as earlier this evening, I am actually now contemplating a purchase of either the Best Buy steelbook or the Target digibook.

It is my birthday in a few hours, and I just realized that a card came in the mail from my grandma. It says, "Buy yourself something nice."

I almost feel as though I would be honoring wishes better by getting the steelbook or digibook..

Haha. Don't overthink it too much and get stressed out or anything.

Happy birthday!

Cant wait til Tuesday. Will walk in. Pick up the steelbook. Unwrap it. Take the bluray out..toss it aside..and run out the door.

Best Buy deserves a better class of criminal.

Getting the Steelbook shipped from Best Buy and most likely going to pick up the Batcowl edition at Walmart for $25. Not the first time I did this with a movie but I think it will be worth it. lol

It should be numbered but im not complety sure... I hope it is.

The only thing I dislike about the cowl edition is thr way the discs are layered on top of each other but thatst it- the box, the cowl itself is epic

Happy birthday!
Thanks! It's a true "first world problem" when my most pressing decision to make is between which blu-ray version of TDKR I want to own.

The digibook is what I have been leaning towards between the two. The steelbook looks awesome, and I really like the artwork, but I also really like the art work of the digibook -- and frankly, I love digibooks. I have 6 of them.

Plus, the exclusive Reborn doc that comes with the steelbook really doesn't seem like something to pine over. So it's more or less between the regular combo pack and the digibook, and it would be cool to own the digibook. The only thing holding me back is the price difference.

If Amazon matches Walmart's price (which I expect them to), I'll get the combo pack for $17.96, whereas the digibook from Target will run me $27.31 after tax. $10 is enough for a whole other movie!

They had an issue with their suppliers, and so because of that the listing was taken down. It will still be available in store on Tuesday, though.

No true confirmation that I'm aware of, but most speculation seems to be leaning toward download only. Though it could, perhaps, find its way onto the special features disc (a la additional features for M:I - Ghost Protocol).

We are so close now guys!!! I feel like I have been waiting an eternity for this blu ray to be released. However, I will have to wait until Saturday to watch it, but I can't complain as I will be watching the trilogy with buddies all day Saturday on my gorgeous 106" projector screen. Anyone else here doing a trilogy watching in one sitting or are you guys just eager to watch TDKR?

Man, I want to cancel my order on amazon because the cowl edition is 25 in walmart in stores.... but im worried i wont be able to actually get one. OIDJWOJDWDJN

keep in mind my amazon edition is 45 after shipping.... and my walmart is 24 hours.... should I take the chance?

Screw it, I just sealed my fate. My amazon order was actually 47 after taxes and everything..... That is just too much for a movie to me no matter how much i love this damn film. I will try my luck tonight at Walmart at midnight....
