I think this was a really poor decision on Nolan's part overreacting to what everyone was saying about him being so difficult to understand in the prologue.

I saw the Prologue and he sounded so much better in it although his words were jumbled. Wish they included an option to actually switch back to the original voice.

The studio overreacted, not Nolan. I think Nolan and Hardy chose to do an "f you" to the whining executives at the studio who freaked out about the Prologue complaints last December. Luckily the voice is much better throughout the rest of the film.

Luckily, there is a BB and a Target in very close proximity to each other, same shopping center to be exact. I was able to get the digibook and the steelbook. Tonight can't come soon enough.

Does someone have a link to Target's page for this? I can't find it on their site to get their # for it. I just spoke to the local Target department manager (movies) who didn't even know what a DigiBook was and maintained they don't have this and he'd never even heard of it!

On top of that, these people weren't very good with customer service. There was no, "Can I help you?" or "Would you like me to check in the back for you?" All they said at first was, "We don't know where it is."

After I checked around the store quick, I asked if they could check in the back. And they still could find nothing. Came back to me and said, "Yeah we're not sure about that."

Maybe I'll go back later and see if these guys have some sort of revelation, but it was freaking ridiculous trying to deal with them, added with the fact that the store didn't have a clue where their own merchandise was.
Can u believe this sh*t!?!

YES!!! UPS just delivered from Amazon, the broken cowl looks great!! Hoping it fits on the shelf with rest of the BD's. Might just pick up the Bane Target edition, much easier to get the disc out of the case.

It was ridiculous. They literally had no clue; one of them kept grabbing various editions (combo pack, DVD trilogy, BD trilogy) and asking if I was sure that it wasn't the edition I was talking about. "Yes, I'm sure. It looks like a hardbound book," I thought out loud.

Alas, since I couldn't find the digibook, I figured I would just grab the combo pack and call it a day. I figured that since they had a big stack of combo packs that weren't yet placed in plastic coffins, I would be fine taking one off the top of the stack and heading to the register. But the employee I was dealing with said, "Here, give me that so I can put it in a case."

I replied, "I'm about to just head up to the register and pay for it," to which she told me that it "needs to be in a case, otherwise you can't buy it." I said to hell with them and went next door to Best Buy to get the combo pack.

Apparently, this is what I get for canceling my Amazon pre-order in favor of splurging for myself for my birthday. Lesson learned, kids: Don't cancel your Amazon pre-orders.

We'll see.
You broke down and bought it! I know you talked about waiting for the UCE. Given your avatar, I thought that would be close to impossible.

I (along with 2 other guys) were there at about 8:10. The rep at first didn't know where they were. He got on his walkie talkie, and whoever he was talking to said he thinks they're in a huge box in the back. About 10 minutes later, he came strolling down the aisles with a huge box. They were in there. Sorry, I'm sure they'll be there later. Or just check another store if you have time. I really wish these places would get their acts together and have new releases ready by 8:00. I was almost late to work!

There is a completely separate standee for this at Target.
My store couldn't find them either until they opened they opened this huge box with the standee in it with all of the movies already stocked in the slots. My store also had 40 copies.

The September 30th 2014 expiration date leads me to believe the UCE will be released on 9/30/13 as digital codes tend to expire a year after the product is released.
If true, that would be great for cutting the doubledip costs down! Let's hope you're right!

Now can I just find ONE person that bought the US DVD trilogy!! I'm hald tempted to ask a BB employee if I can open a package to look as see if there are 6 discs included. I'd buy, on the spot, if that's the case.

There was also a sign by the pre order cards that said save $5 when u pre order dark knight rises. So I wasn't sure of the exact price once you pick it up

Just got home a little bit ago.

Target: Got two copies of the digibook, they had about 30 on hand. There was only one other person there getting a copy

Best Buy: They had about 70 copies of the steelbook not including the pre-orders. I was the only person there, I don't think people know about the 8AM holiday hours.

Happy to have my copies, just waiting on the Amazon.fre steelbook, Amazon.de steelbook and Best Buy Canada exclusive.

Cheers!

it was on the BD that was on the right side with the DVD...at the menu select SPECIAL FEATURES then right arrow 4 times to THE DARK KNIGHT REBORN. it's 38:06 long with English captions and Dolby Digital 2.0ch sound
