So, we are sure it's the 1978 film, right?

well if that site is correct it would have to be the Brian de Palma film.
no other film would make sense.

well, they confirmed it in their facebook too. (although they don't mention the film's date.) So i guess, it's that one..

-Hearing rumors that THE FURY is coming through you guys...please be true!
-You've just answered Bruce's question below... (he was asking about which BLuray would pair Christine)
-Fantastic! The prior DVD had a mixed-bag transfer and nothing beats the original key art so consider this an immediate pre-order. Through Screen Archives right?
-This a much more recent transfer...and looks fab. Yes, screen archives, but pre-orders won't be up till mid-Feb.

Don't they usually make their '500 left' announcements when there are around 600 remaining?

Yes, that does seem to be the norm but why not just say 600 and some change left instead of 500?

And, as we have said about a million times already, the cart is rarely accurate. Occasionally during the pre-order stage, the numbers are useful indicators in anticipation of a quick sellout, but in the post-release stage the cart is always wrong. For example, since TT knows exactly how many units are sold on any given title, we can say categorically that there is no way that 639 copies of THE EGYPTIAN on Blu-ray still remain...unless of course, SAE are making their own, and we wouldn't want that now, would we?

Appreciate the feedback and good to know you guys still read these boards. Yes, I've heard people say the "cart" numbers aren't accurate before. I'm just dumbfounded how a company, such as SAE, can stay in business if it can't correctly keep track of it's own inventory numbers ... I don't want to even think about the financial records. It's not like there would be any reason to display false numbers. How do they keep track of what inventory they're suppose to or not suppose to have. This just leads to overselling items. Just seems like a bad way to operate a business.

Really like both of these covers.

On a different note, I've noticed some of TT's recent Sony titles (Blue Lagoon, Lost Horizon) are including more extras. Any one know why this is; has Sony changed their stance on licensing extras or allowing third-party studios to create their own? I'm all for more extras if available.

Somebody posted on TCC's FaceBook page (a few months ago) that she just finished her essay for The Blob.
