I strongly disagree. Bourne was a far better trilogy. The Dark Knight Trilogy, which I love, is better as a series of big, summer blockbuster films, but not as a unified statement with almost nonstop action and tension. Personally (and all such opinions are inherently subjective and personal), I thought The Lord of the Rings was mostly crap - but that's because I grew up reading the books - several times. Not only did the movie versions leave a whole lot out (the ending : the destruction of the Shire, for example), no movie could ever match the personal, hallucinogenic frenzy of that writing. It produced movies in your mind which you lived with and which could never be touched by external, let's argue about focus and aspect ratio, physical films.

Not sure if this has been brought up before but does anyone think there is a bit of pixelation during the opening shot of the truck driving through the grass at the beginning of the film? Or am I crazy and that's just the grass I'm seeing?

I have a spare code for the online version of the documrntary if you'd prefer not to buy another version. Presumably it works from a non US IP address?

I think it's the grass your smoking....nah I didn't notice it,I'd need to have another look.

Yeah. I noticed that too. It didn't seem as clear as other IMAX shots.

It may be because of the rapid movement (in comparison to other shots).

I just watched The Dark Knight followed by TDKR -wow!! These films are both demo worthy. I had to lower the volumes several times on my home theater system. I haven't watched TDK since last year. I forgot how incredible that movie is - the performances, the direction, the score, the cinematography, all top notch. I'm sure it was difficult for Christopher Nolan to follow with TDKR. However, the movie is entertaining. Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway are quite impressive. Hopefully, Christopher Nolan will FINALLY receive that Oscar -which is long overdue.

Wife is upstairs putting the little guy to bed, TDKR is queued up ready to go! Hell even the main menu is pretty badass!

See you guys in about 6 hours when I'm done with the movie & all the special features!

I think this has hands down the best audio on Blu-ray. It's just so powerful and all encompassing. Everything is perfect.
