Haven't seen anything outside of Purple Noon and the Matt Damon movie, but I imagine with different leads and different creative teams, they're probably all very loosely connected.

I'm real disappointed that Criterion put virtually NO extras (trailer, booklet) on the Three Outlaw Samurai release. Given his popularity in Japan, I'd think it would be easy to find SOMETHING!?
