That is a good point. I've sometimes thought about it. It could be that he wasn't in control of the fall to be able to openly grab at the wall?

That's one possibility I thought of, but still doesn't explain why he had to pull him up. lol

If you could stop advertising that service, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it. We don'[t really care how lazy you are or whether you've developed some creative way to avoid going to the bathroom while watching movies.

Glad we (apparently) agree about the film though.

IMO, when comparing Raimis to Webbs Spider Man its a bunch of "what one does right, the other does wrong".

Action - Raimi. Between Spider Man 1 and 2, even 3...no comparison.

Romance/Love story - Webb...and by a landslide. If I had to watch Tobey McGuire stare at Dunst again with that stupid puppy dog look on his face I would gouge my eyes out. I mean...sh** or get off the pot already.

Acting - kind of a tie. I enjoyed the campy nature of Raimis...but at times it went a bit too far, especially in the 3rd film. As for The Amazing Spider Man, I appreciated the serious tone...but at times THAT went a bit too far.

Are there any kids (specifically 11 years and under) that actually like this one? Anyone know of any? I remember seeing so many bored kids sitting next to me in the theaters, and none of them seemed to have any reaction from it when it was over.

And for those that bought this for their kids, does it get much replay value?

My 11 year old loved it, my 5 year old who loves spider-man said they liked it, but has only watched it once. I think if it had more spider-man, she would have liked it more. But she doesn't really get into the first trilogy either. But she loves spider-man

This one is actually kinda violent for kids to watch, I think, despite the PG-13 rating.

I gave it to my 9 year old nephew the other day and we watched the movie. He was pretty into the movie I thought. After it was done I asked him if he liked it as much as the other movies or if he thought it was better or worse. He said he liked it just as much and in some ways was better. He loves Spiderman, so I think anything with the web slinger would make him happy,..lol.

Did anyone else buy their copy from Amazon, (3-disc set, non 3D), and not receive the slip cover? I know this has a slip cover, at least the Best Buy copies did, and the Best Buy copy isn't exclusive.

And is the Target exclusive disk BD or DVD?

Couple questions:
1. Who was the guy talking to Dr Connors? Looked middle eastern/Indian.
2. Was that the same guy at the end of the film during the prison scene?

[Show spoiler]No he was funding Connors research, thusly keeping tabs on his work...and was presumed killed in the cab on the bridge by the rampaging Lizard.

Yep, I guess we'll have to wait for Amazing Spiderman 2 for more info!
I believe the Man in Shadows was played my Michael Massee, known as the actor that fired the weapon that, tragically, killed Brandon Lee in The Crow.

Obsorn has been funding Dr. Conners and (the "missing")Parker's research.

Green Goblin throws Gwen off the bridge in the comic book.

GG is the Ra's Al Ghul of Amazing.

[Show spoiler]Irrfan Khan worked for Osborne/Corp. He wanted faster results because the FUNDER was "dying".
