i hope he gets to 2,000 yards. 2,000 is such a massive accomplishment in itself, but to do it after tearing up your knee as bad as he did? that is just... unfathomable.

* and i don't want him to get a ring in his last year on another team where he rushes for like 300 yards as a third down back. honestly, i don't think he will be that type of player. i could see him going out 'Barry Sanders style' where he plays for 10 years or so (maybe less) and calls it a day.

Associated press, I believe. I think right now Manning is the clear favorite, but Brady is right there in the running as well. Generally it goes to a player on a team that wins a lot of games.

true. i always forget he came back from neck surgery, first year with the team, already setting Broncos records, blah blah blah unless they have a massive collapse, the MVP will be his. even if they bomb out in the first playoff game he'll still win it (just like his Indy days where they flamed out).
