Exactly and even when it does mean what they think it means more often than not their real complaint is with critical or fan reaction and not with the films or filmmakers themselves.

So can we start debating why Avengers is the most underrated movie of 2012? Or was that TDKR? I forget. Wait, TDKR is the pretentious one, right? I forget... I'm so pretentious I prefer Kid with a Bike over both of them. And that's not really even a pretentious film. Oy vey.

With the exception of "Tiny Furniture"

And d@mn Barnes and Noble! I wish they would hurry up and ship my Purple Noon and Brazil blu-rays! I blind bought Purple Noon with a 98.62% certainty that I will like it, and the comments here prove me correct.

I'm so brainwashed by these forums that the minute I saw % I thought you were showing off a deal and I wondered how many coupons you had to stack to pay 1.38% of SRP for a Blu

From the looks of it, the CC Kool-Aid isn't running low in this thread.

Not bad, actually.

Announcements shouldn't be far away so lets make this prediction time ! Here is my totally wishful list of which maybe a title will get release...

- World Cinema Foundation Title (ANY TITLE!)
- Apu Trilogy
- Night and Fog in Japan
- Nanook of the North (Possible?)
- Eclipse Series 30-something: The Roots of the Czech New Wave
- Marketa Lazarova

saw this in film school a couple of years ago (one of the worst places to be introduced to a film). instructors are always imposing their interpretations on students. whenever i tried voicing a contradicting opinion on it, i was shot down. ive always wanted to revisit this in my own time. i hope it gets a release. i'd love to check it out with a different mindset/fresh set of eyes. reconsider my own thoughts and his.

hope you're right.

The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (Blu-ray upgrade)
Paris nous appartient
Y Tu Mamá También

Badlands
Eclipse Series 38
Y Tu Mama Tambien

I really would like to see The Life Of David Gale in some sort of Blu-ray release. Maybe Criterion will do us the honor.

Add me to that list. Would love to see some more Powell and Pressburger released by Criterion. The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp anyone?

Also would like to see The Fallen Idol get a Blu treatment. I know that's Carol Reed, but as long as we are making wish lists!

Watched Videodrome for the first time last night. Loved it. Loved the extras too. Criterion will get my money every release date. I love blind buying Criterion movies.
