If you chose "Other", please say why. I'm not putting all of them, Allen is very prolific.
UPDATE: On the poll I forgot "Hannah and Her Sisters", which is ironically my favorite Woody Allen film! If you're voting for HAHS, please reply "One vote for HAHS!" Sorry. Last edited by CriterionCollector; 10-15-2012 at 01:48 AM. Reason: Forgot something on the poll. |

![]() So I gave it to Zelig and Purple Rose of Cairo as best middle/later, for remembering that he used to write New Yorker short stories. And Love and Death was his funniest EFF (Early Funny Film), but became funni-er after I'd seen the interview where Woody confessed he was channeling the cowardly-wisecracking 40's Bob Hope of "My Favorite Brunette" and the Road pictures. Duh, of course. ![]() ![]() Last edited by EricJ; 10-15-2012 at 05:13 AM. |

My vote: Hannah and Her Sisters, which I feel is the most successful amalgamation of Allen's best qualities. |
