By the way, for all youse guys still makin' 'scuses : when Blu Titan, a Super Mod commented here the other day, he didn't even pay lip service to any 30 day limit. Instead he spoke of "courtesy":

Just out of simple courtesy, spoilers should be used when discussing part of the "movie which will "spoil/ruin" the viewing experience for members who have not seen the film."

Gru : That's what I'm talking 'bout!

If he escaped with the LOS, he wouldn't have come back as an adult. Bruce never says he escaped twice.
The doctor never specifically says the child was Bane. Bruce assumes it was, but the doctor never actually validates his suspicion.

I had to post this though.

Great meme. I was laughing internally at how Batman was yelling at Bane. Not because I thought it was a joke, but rather at how the world's greatest detective has become more of a brute force interrogator.

Also, I finished the extras on the second disc. Great stuff. For as little hype as the supplemental package has gotten, it satisfied me more than I expected it to.

And yes, that is what she said.

I got my Cowl Set taunting my under my X-Mas tree. I won't be watching it until Dec 25th. Can someone tell me if the PQ is up to par with Avengers & Prometheus?

So I'm guessing the movie screen will switch back and forth from full screen to IMAX like it did with The Dark Knight Blu-ray?

You mean widescreen to IMAX? Yeah. 2.35 to full 1.78 frame.

Ah that's fine. I didn't mind it with TDK Blu-ray at all but at first I thought my TV was screwed up lol.

Any of you guys also complaining about the lack of chapters? Such a long movie and so few in chapters.

This Blu-ray release is pretty disappointing if you really think about it and re-watch it a couple of times.

The Audio: Way and way too loud and sometimes lacks in volume.
Picture quality: Same goes for the picture quality for the 2:35 shots: 50/50 in softness // out of focus

The Extras: Can it be even more common than this? Not that special.

The Movie: In the end a pretty standard Super-hero after all. Not the same level like the first two movies had.

No, The Dark Knight is still my favorite.

The aspect ratios switching aren't a distraction, but the disparity in quality between the two is for a lot of people. Just browse through this thread and you'll see complaints on almost every page post release.

From what I've gathered it's an accurate representation of what was shown in theater. But if you're looking for the popping clarity of Prometheus, Avengers, or The Amazing Spider-Man, the non-IMAX scenes fall well short.

I actually like it and wish more films employed that technique. There are some scenes that need the extra width and there are some where the height and full frame view works better. I love it.

After watching 'Rises several nights back I watched The Dark Knight again and for the first time on my newer display. Wow! 'Rises has such a far better transfer, natural looking transfer and none of that heavy EE. The Dark Knight looks like a digitally filmed movie in comparision. Even the IMAX scenes had EE applied in The Dark Knight.

Batcowl set is available at Amazon again. Starting to feel bad for the people overpaying on eBay.

Surprised that it's still in stock on Amazon...crazy! I figured they would be sold out as soon as they were listed. Maybe they just have a ton in stock that they are slowly releasing.

It's the same people from all the other sites. They stock up when it's cheap and wait for the market for a limited edition to go up in price.

From what I saw, it was in stock for several hours today on Amazon (by Amazon) for $39.99 Brand New.

Now all of the ones in stock are by other sellers that START at $95.00

I hope everyone that wanted one had the chance to get one today.

I had the same thoughts. Barely noticed the ratio switching, just the quality difference(although I did enjoy the film more the 2nd time).

Very much agree. No issue with the switching....minus the fact that it constantly reminded me of the subpar 35mm stuff. It is completely distracting. I own lots of movies that have transfer issues, but you can engage in the film and get used to it as it's consistently average. Great movie, but it kept taking me out of the experience of watching it.
