And it being called a "prologue" or a "story extension" is pretty generous.

Darn I was pretty excited about that feature. Amazon just delivered the set to my house this morning but I've been at work all day. I was hoping it was at least 10 minutes long

Yeah, calling the prologue a "story extension" is a bit misleading. But, the "making of" featurette is good and the show itself is amazing. If you're looking for action and explosions, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a well written, perfectly plotted, character driven drama, this is one of the best series on TV. I'm excited for season two.

Is there a way to know if this will still be $25 at Best Buy next week? See I want to pick up "Person of Interest" and I just need $10 in purchases to earn a $10 gift card but nothing cheap strikes my fancy.

I bought "Homeland" but haven't opened it. I could return it. I leave on a trip Labor Day. If it's still $25 next week, I could stop into a Best Buy while I'm out of town, snag both, get my gift card, voila.

So how can I find out when the sale price is through?

I can almost guarantee it won't be this price next week.

Only 1 commentary track was really disappointing (for those like me who enjoy commentary tracks).

I really enjoyed the show though - or at least, Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin.

I knew going in that I hate the actor from the tv show "Life" with the tiny mouth who plays the POW in this series, but, I have some hope that eventually there will be a different villain if the show continues beyond a second season.

Having watched the first season, my only regret is that everything I liked about the show
[Show spoiler] - a spy working at the CIA, managing her mania - is now undone
. So there's nothing but sentiment to bring me back for season 2.

I hope they can record more commentaries next time.

hey it has nudity from the firefly/serenity girl so how can you be disappointed?
Seriously, this is the first show since Firefly in which she's been able to show off her acting talent.

That "V" series was so stupid, and every actor on the series was reduced to its level. Homeland redeems her.

its nothing like prison break, its like a much more grounded/drama type of cloak and dagger espionage type of movie.

its really really good. 4.5/5 or 9/10. i watched it all 12 episodes within a day. its killing me now that i gotta wait 8-10 months for season 2 blu-ray

Season two is quite bad, so the wait won't kill you. It has officially turned to 24.

Disagree.

But I can't see this show lasting 2 or 3 more seasons.

I agree with that--I feel like it needs some major changes, otherwise lasting longer will lead to it feeling like it's dragging on too much.
