When you run out of room what makes more sense, going out and buying another $130 cabinet or trying to save space by doing this?
It's just a space saver.

Putting collections together is one of the reasons why I got involved in custom cover work in the first place - to help save shelf space.

The only actor that has had a volume 2 so far is Schwarzenegger, but Keira Knightley is about to get a second one with my recent purchase of "London Boulevard".
I would like to try to make a twilight trilogy, channing tatum movie collection, gerard butler movie collection.
Do you use regular printer paper?

No, I use a high quality photo paper. I have heard that a lot of people use semi-glossy for their custom covers.

My space issue is really my wife's space issue. When we moved in April of last year (to a bigger house no less) it was a struggle for me to even be allowed to unpack my Blu-rays. My wife wanted me to leave them in their packing boxes.

Then when I did start unpacking them she complained that Blu-ray cases are "ugly" and discussed with her family's ways that we could hide them (e.g. a burlap cover was one of the ideas tossed around) so she wouldn't have to look at them.

Then, whenever we have friends over she comments on my "ridiculous obsession" with collecting Blu-rays. No matter that she has over 400 music CDs.

So, I hope that answers your question Rusty

Speaking of collections:

and OK, I know that "Beverly Hills Cop III" is hardly a classic, but I don't want to split up that trilogy. Since II and III aren't on Blu yet I will put in their DVD editions as placeholders for now:

**These are supposed to be used as slipcovers**
I'm collecting the Muppet Movies on Blu-Ray, they currently have four released on Blu-Ray: A Muppet Christmas Carol, The Muppets, Muppets from Space, and Muppets Take Manhattan. Since Disney owns the X-Mas & 2011 Film, they of course have slips while Sony owns the other two. I decided to make slips for them in the tradition of the Disney ones.
Hopefully these come to use for a few people who own the Muppet BDs and want slipcovers, if not... then they don't. LOL.

Anyone have any custom John Carter art? I would pay for S+H costs to have a copy mailed to me.

Request: Can someone scan the cover art for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure? I got the Tim Burton box set and am printing individuals. Pee-Wee is the only one I couldn't find a cover for.

Thanks Old bones and jstasa51. I'm still tweaking it a little, but it was probably my favorite to make so far. My excitement for the new release was accompanied by mixed feeling about the cover. Only problem is that there isn't a real wealth of pictures for some of these foreign titles. I watched Hero again last night and wanted to start a cover, but there just aren't enough high quality pictures out there that haven't been used and over used for that one.

I love this thread and the designers on it. I have been and am continuing to learn so much from seeing peoples' work. I really want to thank all of you designers out there for sharing with us.

None exist as far as I know, but I can make you one :-)

Here are my mockups for the fronts of a proposed set:

I picked this image for Rises because it follows the trend of the first two, but it doesn't have to be this particular one.

Here are some recent commissions I've done.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang:

Sound of Music:

Superman Restored International Cut:

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy:

Sorry, not available to share, but as always I figure people like to just look at what I do as much as I enjoy seeing others' work.
