Rogue. She can emulate any superhero, and may even be impervious to Kryptonite since she is not a native Kryptonian.

Superman VS Hulk is the debate that should ensue here.

Myself? I think Superman has the edge in a straight up brawl without Kryptonite involved.

I...mean Superman would never be stupid enough to get in a brawl with the Hulk. Let the Hulk square off with Doomsday and we'll see if the Hulk could handle him.

The toughest to beat are definitely the villains that can alter reality.

That was short lived...haha. I think in order to effectively debate this argument, you should pick a particular universe, or else Superman will always be king.

That's an easy answer. What would happen if a telepath like Jean Grey or Professor X made him kill himself? There's so many different facets to the discussion. It really is a great topic, and an equally terrible one because it would never end.

Would they have power over an alien mind though? Kryptonians were supposed to be a highly advanced race. Perhaps that has something to do with the genetic makeup of their brains. Would a telepathic human be able to enter the mind of the last son of Krypton?

I have a comic where Sups destroyed Doomsday with his heat vision so I'm pretty sure Hulk would kick the crap outta him.

Isn't it funny how in the movie Superman: Doomsday,
[Show spoiler]Superman kills Doomsday in like the first 20 minutes? Then the rest is Superman vs himself, essentially.

This is an interesting and good thread. My wife always says to me when she sees some big strong movie creature "Can he take the Hulk." I don't ever remember saying yes. In the comics the Hulk was a unmanageable brute. In a recently done Marvel animated Avengers movie the Hulk mopped up the floor with the Avengers. For raw power he would be hard for anyone to stop.

Hmm I wonder how Hulk would do against the Cloverfield monster?

I loved it when he whooped up on Loki after he (Loki) ran his mouth too much.

It's got to be a supernatural superhero like Superman or Green Latern.. Obviously a mortal like Batman would have no chance against them in a physical fight.

So what I'm hearing is, Manhattan could teleport Superman to where his powers don't work, and beat him there?

Manhattan vs. Hulk- just send hulk to a far off galaxy and never see him again?

Manhattan vs Thor - hmmmm. How does Manhattan hurt Thor?
