That's like the 8th time he's said he can tell a difference but everyone seems to keep talking about how he can't. He's saying he CAN tell a difference, but he's not sure if he wants to spend $30 per movie.

When DVD first came out, I spent $35 on Armageddon... then $45 on the Criterion Version (yes, my first 2 DVD's ever were the same movie... apparently I have no problem with double dipping). Now I wont spend $2 on a DVD.

If you want Blu-Rays for cheaper, I say just check Amazon.com and other places. I remember when Blood Diamond came out, Best Buy was asking more than the suggested retail price for the Blu-Ray for some reason. They ended up correcting it and lowering it to $24.99, but you can get the same movie for $19.99 on Amazon.com (and you can use the links from this site to do so!). Or you could purchase them used. Plus there's a lot of BOGO sales.

For me, the $30 price tag is worth the quality. Do I hope they lower the price? Absolutely. I think it's important to lower the prices because of people just like you where they're not willing to spend that kind of money on a movie. Especially $30-$35 for titles from Fox where they don't even have all/any of the features on the movie.
