Not for Snow Leopard.
Not everyone wants Lion or Mountain Lion. Some of us don't care about making our desktops resemble tablets. And once you update to 10.7 or 10.8 you lose the ability to run Mac programs that use the older PowerPC architecture. Such as Quicken for Mac 2007. I.E. no support for Rosetta anymore. Yes, we can buy new programs & make a bunch of changes & learn new software for those older programs we use that will no longer work with Macs but, some of us don't desire Lion or Mtn Lion. Eventually, We will have to upgrade but not just yet. |
