Default Spectrumofpain's Home Theater - Completed...for now

Hey everyone, been a member of these boards for a long time but I have finally gotten around to posting pictures of my home theater rig. It was actually completed last year when I upgraded my front speakers to the Polk RTI A series and the Epik Legend subwoofer and then later in that year I finally upgraded my tv to the Sony HX55929 (previous display was a Sony KDL40XBR2). At this point I am pretty content with the setup I have but the only thing at this point I would like to upgrade would be my receiver. Would be nice to get more HDMI inputs, 3D passthrough and more power to my Polk RTI A9's. The other thing that would be nice would be to go to a 7.2 setup. In my case, the best way would be to add ceiling mounted speakers. Anyways on to the pictures!

You've been a member here a lot longer than me, but welcome to the HT galleries!

That's a very classy looking setup you have there.

Normally the gallery threads are full of friendly people and lots of fun, and it's almost like a seperate social group from the general population on this site, but I think everybody is partying with their friends for new years eve right now, like I'm about to do!

Glad to have you in here and have a Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Galleries SpectrumOfPain,

You have one nice looking HT there. We all know very well that "we" are never really done. Just when you think you have it dialed they pull DTSDolbyNeo 24.4 out of their keester and the thing starts all over again.

Thanks! Yeah you're telling me, haha. I've already started to research 4k and whatnot. This is what I get for having a subscription to Home Theater magazine.

Hello!

Haha, yeah I have read some threads in here before, very cool people! Well this past year I spent time and money on other projects around the house so this year I plan to get back to work on my home theater. First up is upgrading the AVR, been having my eye on the Denon 4520.

Welcome the the HT galleries SpectrumOfPain! Very nice of you to join us and please make yourself at home. Your name will likely get shortened to SOP or something like that, but we welcome first names as well! Makes things easier you know!

Thanks! Glad I can be a part of this forum. Haha, yeah I can see how my username can get really old when it's typed over and over so I don't mind using my first name, it's Eliseo.
