That was the censored theatrical version. The orginal uncut version is rated R. This film was also censored in the cinemas. The only reason these films produced by Besson get's censored to the desired PG-13 rating, is because of $$$. They only want to make more money at the cinemas.

Saw Taken 2 in theaters a couple weeks ago. Once it gets going, it really never lets up until the credits role.

I agree that the action is pretty shaky in one of the fight scenes. I am terribly against that style of fight filming. Just pan out a bit and let us watch the dam fight, ya know?

Aside from a couple minor quibbles here and there, I think Taken 2 is definitely a worthy successor to Taken.

Rent first. Heard too many negatives to warrant just flat out buying this, no matter the size of my man-crush on Liam Neeson!

You shouldn't buy movies just to make your collection bigger. You should only buy movies because you enjoy them.

JLA I'm just like you and I feel the need to own all of the movies in a series even when some are bad. However, I REALLY didn't like Taken 2 so I'm going to try and take a stand by not buying it.

I like that they didn't go with the same idea of him saving his family. Otherwise, it would've been Hangover 2 all over again. The only thing I didn't like though was the fight scenes. Seemed like they were not properly choreographed. Neeson looked really slow compared to first. Then again he's getting old I guess. So that's understandable.

I do not understatand owning a movie you dont like, but I see some collectors are completist, and that's cool, but why not wait til you can get it for $5.00 sometime in the future. That way you complete your collection and do it cheap since you really didn't like the movie.

No, this has never been the case for me as I don't look at movies like Pokemon.

If I didn't really care for a movie, there is no reason to purchase it. It's a pretty simple concept for me.

Taken 2 was really that bad huh? I liked the 1st and had it in my mind I was going to buy the 2nd no doubt. After these terrible reviews I think I might just rent it now. Even some people who said they LOVED the 1st one said it was bad..
