Have heard the title and been curious about this one before, but have not seen it. I will include it on my next Amazon order.

I have seen Pitch Black (and I think my friend has too), but I have not seen Ghosts of Mars. I'll check out some trailers later on.

Just saw a scene on Youtube from this, and this is the kind of stuff that's a hit around here. The movies don't have to be super gory or anything, but it's not something we shy away from on movie night, to say the least.

Thank you all for you recommendations, it's highly appreciated.

You may want to do some research on this title as the disc is known to have a glitch. My sister had to send away for a corrected copy. In any case, I also enjoyed this movie.

Here's one of my all time favorites from the 50's, "IT! The Terror from Beyond Space". It was the inspiration for Alien.

I was going to mention that one! If you don't mind old films with dated FX it's really a fun movie. It's got your standard rubber-suited alien running amuck throught the spaceships's air-ducts picking off crew members. Corny, but good old-fashioned sci-fi fun.

Alien was a remake, I think.

More suspense than horror but very creepy and pretty good. If you're region free it's worth a look.

This genre is really lacking and we need more. Here's a few I can think of that havn't been mentioned and some aren't strictly in space, but do have Sci Fi elements.

Dante 01 (not on Blu ray)
Eden Log
The Fourth Kind (its not in space, but about Alien abduction and its excellent)
Mimic
Species

Thats about all I can think of that hasn't already been mentioned.
