There is a big assumuption that every manufacturer will even roll out this fix to their firmware.
Furthermore i dont see how setting my player to PCM is a actual solution, simply a workaround. I dont want to have to wrry about flipping my settings back to PCM just to play this disc and i personally prefer my amplifier to do the decoding of the intended HD audio track, that being TrueHD. Wonder how this will work for people who bought the US version from overseas? Dont understand why they want the orignal back since its a dud, plus that means we will be without a disc for a few months. Seems a bit unfair. |
