this has got to be great fun for Bama fans

I must say, the announcers (Herbstreit and Musberger) have probably been the creepiest I have ever heard announcers be. They showed AJ McCarron's girlfriend and they focused the camera on her for like a minute straight (and I believe she knew it too because she looked a little worried ) and Musberger was very "creepy old man" and started talking about how gorgeous she was and how lucky AJ was.

Was a very... weird moment in the middle of the game

I'll stand by Oregon as well in that argument, they looked damn good against K-State.

Here are the spreads for the past few BCS title games which had an SEC team vs. a non-SEC team.

2010 - Auburn favored by 2, Auburn won by 3
2009 - Alabama favored by 4, Alabama won by 16
2008 - Florida favored by 5.5, Florida won by 10
2007 - LSU favored by 5.5, LSU won by 14
2006 - Ohio St. favored by 7, Florida won by 27
i dislike Florida, but i hate, hate, hate Ohio State, so every time i get a reminder of their clusterf*ck of a performance in that game, it makes my day

Yeah the challenge is to keep winning is the best collage football conference. The SEC is the best is collage football right? So leaving and going to coach is an easier conference doesn't make any sense.

of course i'm biased because i'm an Oregon fan, but i think Oregon's SPEED would have at least caused a few headaches for Bama. against Auburn they held their own and while most of those players are now gone, the coaches are still there and that would have helped prepare for a game against Bama.

of course, these are all very much guesses, but i'd like to think my Ducks would have at least scored some points by half time, unlike this great ND team

Exactly, he's getting paid over 5 million dollars/year to coach at one of the nation's most prestigious programs. From top-to-bottom the SEC is as competitive as it gets.

I disagree, but we'll see what happens in the next couple years. He's a control freak, the NFL is out of the question.

Hope you're not thinking Wildcat Football is an integral part of SEC football.

F*ck the SEC, we Northerners are tired of your "Football Factories". Do you think for one minute that Bama fans won't take their 1st opportunity to remind you of your school's gridiron inadequacies. They're a Football Factory and could care less about your basketball program...just sayin'.

There's no telling how many national championships Saban is going to take down at Bama when it's all said and done. You've got to figure they will be favored to win again next year.

true, but i think he only gets more and more control with more NC's. eventually they may want to get rid of him just because of how powerful he may wish to become but what do you do? he hasn't broken any rules (although give it a few years and i'm sure there will be some half-assed "NCAA investigation" that comes from nowhere like always it seems ) and while being an arrogant a-hole, he has every right to be with all these championships

anyway, the point i am making is that if he stays, he likely continues to gain more power and control over the program

Really? I just can't see him leaving Alabama for another college team. You can't go upwards from the best. The only reason I could see him leaving for a different school would be if somehow another program throws a ridiculous contract offer at him. But anything another school can offer him I'm sure Bama would match. I do hope he's not delusional enough to try the NFL again.

Texas A&M and Oregon are going to be stacked next year as well. (Florida will also be much more mature and experienced)

Ohio St. should be right there next season. They get the bulk of their team back following a 12-0 season.
